Preventative Mental Health Workshop Series
This ground-breaking six-week workshop program, delivers on both our Positive Mental Health objectives and our ‘Closing the Gap’ objectives.
It is validated by and thought leaders in the space and has been co-created with respected leaders of the Indigenous communities we work with.
In order to determine return on investment for organisations who engage our services, participant psychometrics are measured using PERMAH methodology.
Workshops will be delivered by key partner organisations and will be aligned with Life Again’s pillars of Connection, Storytelling & Giving Back

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES / OUTCOMES
Deliver Positive Mental Health outcomes for the organisations we work with through a series of powerful and targeted Positive Mental Health (based on a Positive Psychology evidence-based model) workshops and Aboriginal cultural awareness training, online and within the workplace, over a four-week period.

The Power of Connection - Connecting with Anyone
When it comes to our wellbeing, other people matter. In this session we learn the power of authentic and meaningful connection.

WORKSHOP 2
Aboriginal Cultural Competency & Building Aboriginal Cultural Safety in the Workplace for Organisations
In this session we develop awareness of the strengths of Aboriginal culture, identity and people. The workshop facilates making the connection between indigenous and non-indigenous men while developing understanding of the the impact of colonisation and past policy on Aboriginal people today.

Building Psychological Safety
This workshop focuses on creating safety in personal connections. We learn how to communicate honestly, openly and compassionately with each other about even the most difficult topics.

Storytelling Workshop
Become an intentional Storyteller in your life, your projects and your workplace. Through our guidance you will be provided with a personalised experience, developing skills and understanding of how to build trust, connection, understanding and respect with all peoples.

WORKSHOP 6
Ongoing Community Engagement programmes
The aim of this workshop is to engage participants in ongoing programs to support sustained positive outcomes in the mental health of all participants – Indigenous and non-Indigenous as well as the Aboriginal community in general. Activites include but are not limited to:
- Volunteering with Aboriginal organisations / communities
- Cross cultural mentoring and knowledge exchange and emotional support is enabled through a structured mentoring program
- Identifying and facilitating employment pathways for indigenous men
- Ongoing Indigenous-led community engagement to support ‘Closing the Gap’ initiatives and promote connections.
