Our Approach
Our Approach
Facilitating Connection, Resilience, and Leadership.
Life Again creates culturally grounded learning experiences that reconnect people — to themselves, each other, and to nature, or Country.
We believe the most powerful learning happens in relationship. Our role is to facilitate meaningful, respectful access to Aboriginal-led wisdom and practices that have guided sustainable leadership for millennia.
We support Aboriginal educators to share their knowledge — on their terms — with organisations, schools, and communities ready to engage in two-way learning. We believe there can be No Change Without Understanding™
CONNECTION
When we authentically connect with others in a meaningful way, we can regulate our emotions, maintain self-esteem and genuine empathy – all leading to a greater depth and experience of positive emotion.
When we connect with nature, we open our senses and begin to understand our place within something far greater, giving us a deeper sense meaning and purpose.
Connection paves the way for a spiritually richer and more deeply rewarding life.
STORYTELLING
We have learned that each story told reveals that we share a common reality – and the recognition of that reality builds bonds that give us strength.
When we share story, we gain a greater understanding of shared truths and vulnerabilities – bonds of emotion and thought that stretch across generations and cultures.
GIVING BACK
We come to understand the meaning of gratitude more deeply – an understanding that begets and fosters a stronger and more lasting state of wellbeing.
At Life Again, we bring life to the concepts of volunteering, of sharing knowledge, resources, skills, and time to tangible effect.
No Change Without Understanding
To drive change effectively, it is imperative to prioritise understanding above all else. This entails establishing meaningful and authentic relationships with ourselves and others. Our commitment to the guiding principles of No Change Without Understanding™ began with our indigenous programs, fostering connections between Indigenous and non-Indigenous individuals, their cultures, Country, history, and traditional practices.
The ethos of No Change Without Understanding™ has now evolved to become the fundamental philosophy and guiding principle of Life Again. We embrace this principle wholeheartedly in our delivery of preventative mental health initiatives, recognising its significance in creating lasting positive impact.
