Gareth Andrews
Patron & Founder
Gareth has been a successful businessman, sportsman, sporting administrator, journalist, writer and father but at various times he has fought his own demons.
Tony Morwood
Chair
Tony is a non-executive director, experienced senior executive, and former elite sportsman. Tony is passionate about positive mental health and sustainability,is an non-executive director at Catholic Education Sandhurst. Tony has held the role of Head of the Sydney Swans Foundation and is a non-executive director at EM-power Foundation, a social enterprise established to create career pathways for First Nations people in the native food sector.
Ross McDermott
Treasurer
Ross is a Chartered Accountant in public practice with an interest in ensuring that mental health does not suffer as a result of business or other modern day pressures. He has a keen interest in supporting community organisations with their reporting requirements.
Melanie Coupe
Deputy Chair
Melanie is a highly driven leader and coach with two decades of experience helping organisations innovate to grow and transform. She has worked as an internal and external advisor and led teams of consultants and clients to shape and deliver complex organisational change programs for Government, Health, CHarities/NFPs, Public Services (PPP), Finance and Construction sectors.
Nick Columb
Program Director
Nick has a wealth of experience in the mental health space. Working as a counselling psychotherapist in private practice, also developing and facilitating innovative programs, workshops, retreats with a focus on preventative and positive mental health outcomes. Nick’s passion is delivering powerful programs which support mental health and cross-Cultural engagement.
Rachel Kemmis
Board Member
Rachel is an external advisor to executive leaders and boards of public, private and not-for-profit organisations, specialising in strategy, performance and transformation. With a background in adult development, she is driven to contribute to lifting the foundational element of a life well lived – mental wellbeing – for Australians both individually and collectively.
Barry Judd
Board Member
Barry Judd is a descendent of the Pitjantjatjara people of north-west South Australia, British immigrants and Afghan cameleers. Barry is Head of Indigenous Studies at The University of Melbourne and has a deep interest in the ethical frameworks that govern and direct research engagements with Indigenous peoples.
Sarah McNamara
Secretary
Sarah McNamara was appointed as Executive Director at Alinta Energy in May 2024. Before her current role with Alinta Energy, Sarah was Chief Executive of the Australian Energy Council and has also worked as a senior policy adviser to the Prime Minister. Sarah began her career as a corporate lawyer and has a Bachelor of Arts/Law from the University of Melbourne.
Robbie McCracken
Creative & Marketing
Robbie has been working in the creative industries for over 17 years as a graphic designer, sales manager, production manager and most recently running his creative design business Mana Venatus. Robbie is an outdoor enthusiast, complete tech nerd and is very passionate about photography and videography. He is often behind the camera for programs and events or behind the screen sharing Life Agains core purpose through visual storytelling.

Rob Hyatt
Rob is the Education Manager at Koorie Heritage Trust with ties to the Lake Tyers community and the Wotjobaluk people of western Victoria. With over 25 years’ experience in government, sport, and community sectors, he advocates for greater understanding of Aboriginal issues with cultural sensitivity. His insights are invaluable in steering Life Again’s strategy and execution, ensuring programs are grounded in cultural respect and community impact.
Chris Shephard
Chris Sheppard is the CEO of Worn Gundidj Aboriginal Co operative, based in Warrnambool, Victoria. He leads initiatives in cultural tourism, native bush foods, and community development, creating sustainable opportunities for Indigenous
communities. His expertise supports Life Again’s commitment to culturally respectful and community-driven programs.
John Liddle
John is an Arrernte/Luritja/Matjutatjarra
man from Central Australia. As the former CEO of a major Aboriginal health organization, he championed community
health and men’s mental wellbeing. He also leads cultural immersion tourism on his homeland, connecting students and corporate teams to Country. His role on the
Aboriginal Advisory Panel supports Life Again’s commitment to cultural respect and community impact.
Lorraine Liddle
Lorraine Liddle is a respected Arrernte woman from Central Australia with deep roots in community leadership and cultural education. For over 12 years, she has helped shape Life Again’s cultural immersion programs, sharing the stories and wisdom of. Country alongside her husband, John. Her insights ensure that Life Again’s initiatives. are grounded in cultural. authenticity and community connection.
