They have been wonderful experiences for everybody concerned, especially myself.

I am proud to show these men from the city the country in which I’ve grown up.

I teach them about survival in our harsh country and love taking them to my family bush home – nothing like they have in the city! It has a spiritual feeling which l try to explain to them.

There has been a lot of change since l was a kid, for better and worse. But we have to move forward and endeavour keeping a foot in the past as we move forward in the future.

This will only happen if indigenous Australia and non-indigenous Australia get to know each other better.
