Leading with Impact: Connection, Storytelling, and Community Engagement
Transformative Learning Designed for Leaders at the forefront of today’s corporate leadership and ESG challenges.
The workshop focuses on embracing alternative ways of being through traditional Aboriginal knowledge, delivered in partnership with Aboriginal leaders. We believe that this approach has the potential to set emerging and existing leaders apart – offering ways to better understand purpose and embed shared values in purposeful work.
Across the corporate environment, there are increasingly diverse workplaces requiring leaders to improve cultural understandings. Despite corporations creating ESG and RAPs aimed at demonstrating cultural awareness, few strategic tools can be used to achieve their objectives.
This workshop addresses those challenges by offering a way of walking together in a spirit of learning and respect, to contribute meaningfully to both leadership development and Reconciliation.
This dynamic 3-hour interactive session introduces tools for creating connection, utilising storytelling and encouraging a culture of purpose.
Designed for emerging and established leaders, seasoned managers, and HR professionals responsible for Reconciliation initiatives in Victoria and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) compliance.
You will collaborate with peers in an environment that embraces Reconciliation Victoria’s goals and global ESG commitments.
By the end of the workshop, we intend that you will discover:
- New ways to develop deeper connections within teams and with stakeholders.
- Ways to utilise storytelling as a powerful tool for leadership and influence.
- How to encourage a culture of purpose and community engagement within the organisation.
- A deeper understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal culture.
